Happiness is in the climb, not at the top.

It’s easy to get caught up in the idea that happiness resides solely at the top of the mountain, that elusive peak we are all striving to reach. We set goals, chase dreams, and work tirelessly in the hope that once we achieve them, we’ll find everlasting happiness waiting for us at the summit.

We often lie to ourselves and think that when I get to X destination, I will begin to enjoy my life, I will be happier, I will finally do X,Y,Z. For many, they get to that destination and realize its not what they thought it would be. This is often where depression, regrets, emptiness have an opportunity creep in.

The pursuit of our dreams and goals is essential, as it gives us purpose and direction. But let’s not forget to savor the journey—the small victories, the lessons in resilience, and the connections we make. It’s during these moments that we often find the most genuine and enduring happiness.
